DIY: Box of Roses/ NS: Škatla Vrtnic | SGMXKATJASPANKA

Hello!

I'm so exited to share this gorgeous and simple DIY project I did with Katja Spanka.

Katja has her own makeup salon and she's been eyeing the popular box of love for months on instagram. They are so beautiful and would be perfect for her place but not only are they super expensive they also don't last long.

So of course me being the DIY lover I am I decided to helm a girl out. 

I must say that they came out even better that we thought.


Danes z največjim veseljem delim z vami ta prečudovit in preprost NS projekt, ki sva ga naredili s Katjo Spanko. 
Katja ima svoj salon za ličenje in že zadnjih par mesecev opazuje box of love na instagramu. Te božanske škatle vrtnic bi bile idealne za njen prostor, ampak so kar drage in tudi ne zdržijo dolgo.
Ker sem največja ljubiteljica NS projektov sem ji z veseljem pomagala.
Moram priznati, da je končni izdelek bil še lepši kot sva pričakovali. 

You will need:

• a box with a lid
• fake roses (or any other flowers you prefer)
• florist's oasis 
• scissors or forceps  
• knife or utility knife 

*If you decide to make a box of roses with real flowers line the box with plastic before adding the oasis. Then add water to soak the oasis. 

How to make it:

1. Cut the oasis to fit your box. We chose round boxes, so we filled the edges with the leftover pieces of the oasis. 
2. Trim your flowers. Some of the flowers were wired so make sure you also have forceps just in case.
3. Push the flower stems into the oasis. Placing them at an angle makes the bouquet richer and fuller. 
4. You can finish the box with a label and ribbon if you wish. 

VOILA!

Potrebovali boste:

• škatlo s pokrovom
• umetne vrtnice (ali pa katerekoli druge rože želite)
• gobo za aranžiranje cvetja
• škarje ali klešče
• nož ali olfa nož

* Če se odločite uporabiti prave rože, podložite škatlo s plastiko preden postavite gobo vanj. Nato dodajte vodo, da se goba napije. 

Delo:

1. Obrežite gobo, da bo ustrezala velikosti škatle. Ker sva izbrale okrogle škatle sva strani napolnili z ostanki gobe.
2. Obrežite stebla rož. Nekatere umetne rože so žičnate, zato imejte vedno za vsak slučaj klešče. 
3. Potisnite rože v gobo. Lepše izpade, če jih vstavite pod rahlim kotom.
4. Za piko na i lahko dodate nalepko in trak z mašno na škatlo.
