YUMMYLICIOUS #4: Peanut Butter/ Arašidovo Maslo

Peanut butter is a healthy alternative to sweet spreads. It contains a lot of unsaturated fats, which lowers the level of bad cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease. It also contains a lot of antioxidants and amino acids.
Most of the peanut butters that you find in the store are full of sugar, salt, are overly processed and just not good for you. 
I find making my own is easy, cheap and healthier.



Arašidovo maslo je zdrava alternativa za sladke namaze. Vsebuje veliko nenasičenih maščob, ki nižajo raven slabega holesterola in posledično zmanjšujejo tveganje za pojav srčnih obolenj. Prav tako vsebuje veliko antioksidantov in aminokislin. 

Arašidova masla v trgovinah so polna sladkorja, soli in konzervansov. 

Zakaj ne bi naredili svojega in imeli nadzor nad sestavinami? 


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of roasted peanuts
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • a pinch of salt

Sestavine:
  • 300g praženih arašidov
  • 1 jedilna žlica kokosovega olja
  • 1 jedilna žlica medu
  • ščepec soli


Preparation:
  1. Roast the peanuts at 350°F for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Leave the peanuts to cool down.
  3. Put all of the ingredients in to a food processor and blend until you get a smooth and creamy texture. This will take quite a while, so be patient. 
And here you have it, ENJOY!


Priprava:
  1. Popražite arašide v pečici na 180°C za 10 - 15 minut.
  2. Pustite, da se arašidi ohladijo.
  3. Vse sestavine dajte v multipraktik in mešajte, da nastane gladek in kremni namaz. Ta postopek lahko traja kar nekaj časa, zato bodite potrpežljivi.
