Green
smoothies are a great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals.
When
drinking only fruit smoothies it results in short bursts of energy (fruit
contains lots of sugar, which is quickly metabolized). By adding veggies we
stabilize the level of sugar and archive a lasting source of energy.
If you’re a
picky eater when it comes to veggies green smoothies are your solution. You eat
your veggies without even realizing. The taste of the greens is hidden by the
taste of the fruit.
They are
also great for your digestion and will keep you full and hydrated.
Spinach and
banana green smoothies are perfect for beginners. The spinach on its own
doesn’t have a very distinctive flavor and by adding the banana you can’t taste
it at all.
So here is
my quick, simple and yummy beginners green smoothie.
It will make the pickiest eater fall in love with the power of green! J
Ingredients:
- 1 banana (even better if it’s frozen)
- 1-2 cups of spinach
- 1 ½ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
Blend your
ingredients in a blender and ENJOY!
Zeleni smutiji so odličen vir vlaknin, vitaminov in mineralov. Prav tako pa so super za prebavo, nas nasitijo in hidrirajo.
Ker sadje vsebuje veliko sladkorja, ki se hitro presnavlja pride pri sadnih smutijih do kratkih intervalov energije. Ko dodamo zelenjavo se raven sladkorja stabilizira in dobimo dolgotrajen vir energije.
Zeleni smutiji so kot nalašč za izbirčne jedce, ki jim zelenjava ravno ne diši najbolje. Zauživate zelenjavo ne da bi se tega zavedali. Saj okus sadja prikrije okus zelenjave.
Smutiji s špinačo in banano so kot nalašč za začetnike. Špinača že sama po sebi nima močnega okusa, ko pa dodamo banano je pa sploh ne čutimo.
Pa začnimo z mojim hitrim, preprostim in okusnim zelenim smutijem za začetnike.
Tudi največji izbirčnež se bo zaljubil v moč zelene barve! J
Sestavine:
- 1 banana (še bolje, če je zmrznjena)
- 1-2 polni pesti špinače
- 300 ml sveže stisnjenega pomarančnega soka
- 1 čajna žlička chia semen
